If you love Disneyland as much as I do, then I am sure you must dream of spending hours there. Maybe even thinking of throwing a small party with your friends and family?
So, how much does it cost to rent Disneyland?
Since you are sure about renting Disneyland, you should know about the factors that can help you plan your budget.
You may not be surprised to know that renting Disneyland can be way costlier than you thought. But is it worth it? Let’s scroll down to know more!
Will Disney Even Rent to You?
Renting the entire Disneyland is kind of out of the syllabus. That is because Disneyland’s protocols have always been tight. And renting it for a whole day or days is a logistical nightmare they want to avoid.
Book Specific Rides and Corners
Be prepared to dish out $50 000 to book a section or a ride for four hours. This means it will cost you $1 200 000 for 24 hours.
In 1988, Michael Jackson paid a price of $17 million to book the place! However, this was only paid for the parties, held for 3 hours every late night.
Because Disneyland is a theme park that is open to anyone who can afford its tickets, renting the whole theme park is impossible. But for hours or a particular ride? Then it’s a yes.
You can also rent Downtown Disney if you like, which will cost you at least $250, 000. Even if Disneyland permits renting the whole land for a day, the price would be exorbitant for ordinary people.
So, what you really can do for renting Disneyland is to rent it for a few hours, which, as I said before, will cost you $50,000
Host Weddings and Other Parties
Disney offers packages for events outside of their operational hours. Before the park opens at 8 am, and after it closes at 10 pm, you can host your fairy tale wedding. There are two set packages and trust me, they’re not cheap.
Escape
Escape starts at $6,500. It allows up to 18 guests and includes only the basic things you would need for a wedding, like a cake, an officiant, and a 3-course meal. Any customization and add-ons would require extra payment.
Wishes
This package is for the couple who wants to go all out. Starting at $15,000, you would need to have a minimum of 18 attendees and host both ceremony and reception.
While a party at the Grand Californian Hotel would begin at $4000, a more lavish wedding before Sleeping Beauty’s castle followed by a reception in the amusement park would cost you $180 000 minimum.
Conclusion
Nothing can change the fact that Disneyland is a place of happiness that only brings smiles to everyone’s face. But it can be costly!
However, if you have the means to cash out the price, then why not! Keeping the pricing aside, it is undeniable that this is a place for real refreshment. So, how much does it cost to rent Disneyland? Now that you know have your adventure and fun. Why shouldn’t you have your dreamy fairy tale birthday or wedding?
